- This year Corvette
production was up from only 700 the previous year to 3,467 Roadsters.
- The body was all new with
different head lights, tail lights, and a side "cove."
- Exterior Colors for this
model year could now come in two tone for the first time with the second
color in the side cove. The following colors were available:
- Artic Blue
- Aztec Black
- Cascade Green
- Onyx Black
- Polo White
- Venetian Red
- Interior Colors were
limited to only Red and Beige.
- The '56 corvette weighed in at
